    We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our exceptional team on a permanent basis

    The Role

    This exciting opportunity will be based primarily within Year 6, supporting pupils as they prepare for the next stage of their education.

    The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to:

    • Deliver targeted interventions to address gaps in learning.
    • Support individual pupils on a 1:1 basis where required.
    • Assist with learning across the whole class.
    • Help pupils develop confidence, independence and resilience.
    • Contribute to maintaining our high standards of achievement and behaviour.
    • Support pupils in securing the key knowledge and skills needed for a successful transition to secondary school.

    This is a varied and rewarding role requiring flexibility, initiative and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

    What We Are Looking For

    We are seeking someone who:

    • Holds a Grade C/Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
    • Has experience of working with primary-aged children, ideally within a school setting.
    • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Can build positive and supportive relationships with children, staff and parents.
    • Has high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusion.
    • Is patient, adaptable and committed to helping every child achieve their potential.
    • Works effectively as part of a team whilst also showing initiative and independence.
