School show garden application accepted for RHS Malvern Spring Festival
Fri 11 Apr 2025Message from the Eco reps at Norton Juxta Kempsey Primary School:
Hi, we are the eco council reps. We are a group of elected pupils from each class at NJK.
You may already know but if you don't we submitted an application to create a school show garden at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival this year and we were accepted!
90,000 people visit the show and we are very excited to be part of this amazing event.
The theme of our garden is Worcester and we have been busy collecting ideas from everyone at school. There were so many fantastic ideas. We have taken the best ideas and the ones that work together well to create a design for the show garden. Mr Mcall (Little Acre Gardens) has been helping us figure out what the construction will look like and how it can be made.
Chris Collins, the Blue Peter Gardener will be giving us feedback on our design very soon.
We have started to grow plants and collect some of the items we will need.
There are some items that we are still looking for and really hope that you can help us.
Attached is a sneak peek at the garden design and a wish list of items.
If you have any of the items to donate please speak to Mrs Marshall as soon as possible.
We'll keep you updated...
Thank you
NJK Eco Council Reps

Trust Development Day
Fri 27 Oct 2023On Friday, 27th October, our staff came together for a Trust Development Day focused on reflection, collaboration, and growth.
The morning session included a review of our Vision and Values. The staff worked together to refine what they mean to us and our young people. The session sparked some thoughtful discussions and reminded us all of our commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment for everyone.
In the afternoon, we turned our focus to meeting the unique needs of our learners. Teachers and subject leads collaborated across disciplines to share best practices and develop strategies to ensure every student gets the support they need to succeed. These sessions fostered stronger connections between staff members and created a great opportunity for ongoing development.
